Today on October 15th, 2012, Google celebrates 107th anniversary of Winsor McCay's Little Nemo in Slumberland by featuring an awesome animated Doodle on their homepage. This is not the first time that Google comes with an animated Doodle. Earlier they featured Robert 'Bob' Moog synthesizer on his 78th birthday.
Little Nemo is the main fictional character in a successful series of weekly comic strips by Winsor McCay that appeared in the New York Herald and New York American newspapers.
On October 15, 1905 the first strip of Little Nemo was published in the New York Herald .The strip was first called Little Nemo in Slumberland and then In the Land of Wonderful Dreams when it changed papers.
As you know Google never forget to add the touch of their Logo in every Doodle. Here also you can see saying “Little Nemo in Google Land”
